The Luxembourg Basketball Academy is very satisfied about its first LBBA Summer Invitational tournament organized last weekend on the 15th and 16th of September 2012.

We want to thank all the teams that participated at the tournament for of

fering such great high level games and an amazing Slam Dunk Contest! Thanks to all the spectators for visiting and to all the volunteers that worked very hard to make this happen and without whom it just wouldn’t have been possible to organize this kind of international event. A special thanks also goes to our partner the Lycée Ermesinde and their staff for the excellent collaboration throughout the tournament. Last but not least, we want to thank our main sponsors, the Alvisse Parc Hotel, CEL - Comptoir Electrotechnique Luxembourgeois, BIL – Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and Axa-Agence générale Roger Neumann.



Congratulations to all the players and the teams that have offered us great basketball throughout the weekend with two very intense finals:



Final 1st place: Limburg (NL) – Vevey (CH) 79 – 76 (36 – 33)



Final 3rd place: LBBA (LUX) – Urspring (DE) 73 – 65 (40 – 29)



We are also very proud to announce the winners of our LBBA Slam Dunk Contest counting 10 participants in total, that have all shown incredible dunks:



1st place: Patrik Hauri (LBBA)

2nd place: Kevin Bryant (Urspring)

3rd place: Farley Fils-Aimé (Vevey)

4th place: Thomas Grün (Urspring)
