The Luxembourg Basketball Academy has travelled to Göttingen (Germany) on Sunday 17th of February, securing a large victory over NBBL Basketballteam Göttingen with a final score of 59-112. LBBA forward-center Stefan Vujisic had a tremendous game, scoring a 41 points season high while grabbing 16 rebounds. LBBA athlete Facundo Alonso scored 17 points as well as a season high 19 rebounds, while Patrik Hauri added 28 points and performed three incredible dunks! Hantal Jacques also had a remarkable game with a strong defense performance, scoring 11 points and securing 7 rebounds. On Tuesday 19th of February the Academy then travelled to the Netherlands to play against Landstede Basketball Zwolle U20. LBBA point-guard Arnes Osmanovic had his third consecutive double-double with 18 points and 11 assists, while Milos Komenovic scored as well 18 points with 4/4 three pointers. 20 points were added by Patrik Hauri and 19 by LBBA’s big man Stefan Vujisic. Coach Ristic is highly satisfied with those results, in particular because of the huge improvement the score against Landstede Basketball Zwolle U20 reflects, as the LBBA athletes underwent a large defeat at the very beginning of the season against another U20 Dutch team and were now able to enjoy a considerable victory of 65-94!
